Hydro-Québec Reunion Evening – Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel
  Join this exciting evening event, meet up with old friends and enjoy a university pub atmosphere! All graduates and ex-employees of the Department of Geomatics at
  Université Laval since 1907 are invited to this special evening to meet up with former classmates, take part in contests, and remember the old times! All GeoConference delegates are also warmly invited to attend this event, which will end with the wild sounds of the Karma Camelions Band. Don’t miss this unique mixture of the past, present and future, in a unique ambience!

Champlain Evening at the Old Harbour and

  the Musée de la civilisation
 

GéoConference invite you to the Musée de la civilisation for a cocktail and the launching of the book "Le Québec sous l'oeil de l'arpenteur-géomètre depuis Champlain".

 

You will thus have the opportunity to walk through the Old Québec, a UNESCO World Heritage City, and discover the city in all its colourful fall glory at the beginning of October. Take the opportunity to go by the Château Frontenac before going down to the Old Harbour to reach the Museum. You will be able to admire the spectacular cruise ship Queen Mary II which will precisely be in Québec on October 4. The Musée de la civilisation offers all geocongressists the opportunity to visit the new exhibition “Territories”.

After the cocktail, continue your evening in one of the many restaurants of the Old Québec!

A light buffet and drinks will be served. The Musée de la civilisation is a fifteen-minute walk from the Québec City Convention Centre. See the GeoConference maps.
